Action Points and Clearing Points are mechanisms used within TRAIT blockchain to manage and allocate resources for specific actions and transactions. Here's a brief summary of each:
Clearing Points:
Clearing Points represent the number of Clearing Transactions that can be dispatched by an AppAgent.
One Clearing point is consumed when AppAgent creates a Clearing Transaction.
AppAgents are allocated Clearing Points based on their subscription tier.
Action Points:
Action Points represent the number of actions that can be dispatched by an AppAgent within a Clearing Transaction. These actions could include:
Mint, burn, manage tokens;
Execute withdrawals of tokens to players;
Execute a token deposit via Transfer channels;
One Action Point is consumed for every action executed by the AppAgent;
Action Points are allocated to AppAgents based on their subscription tier.
Both Action Points and Clearing Points play crucial roles in governing and managing the usage of resources within the blockchain ecosystem. Every subscription tier has a configured number of included action and clearing points. The number of available action and clearing points is renewed in the beginning of each billing period which is approximately 24 hours.
